Dragonball started off as a manga series and eventually turned into the popular anime television series you see today. Dragonball is the first of the three Dragonball series that existed. Dragonball starts off showing Goku at the age of 12 as he meets Bulma for the first time. When Bulma finds out that Goku has a dragonball, their quest to find all 7 dragonballs begins. As Goku discovers his special powers, new characters are introduced as the show progresses. The series demonstrated Goku's non-selfish behaviour towards others by always taking the time to help anyone in need even though he was searching for the dragonballs. Dragonball ends with Goku eventually marrying Chi Chi. As Dragonball came to a close, it progressed into the second series called DragonballZ.
