What do you use to create your site? I use Microsoft Paint, Photodraw, and Gif Animator for the graphics, and just plain old HTML for the rest of the site (I used to use Microsoft Frontpage, but HTML seemed easier as time went by). Where did you get the idea for DaDarkVegeta? Actually it's quite simple. During July of 2001 I wanted to start up creating webpages again. Specifically, a Dragonball fansite. But I didn't know where to begin. What name should I choose? Well, my ICQ SN is DaDarkPrince. Then I thought "who was the best Dragonball character to be referred to as dark"? Of course, that would have to be Vegeta. And that's when DaDarkVegeta was born. Can you help me design my site? Sorry, but I have enough trouble finding time to update this site, let alone creating others. There are plenty of sites out there where you can get help designing your site. There are even many Dragonball sites on the net giving out free layouts, so go try them. Maybe in time, I will create free layouts, banners, and buttons. But for now, I don't have the time. May I link to your page? Of course you may. Just go to the Link Me section to get the HTML code to put one of my buttons on your site. Could you link to my page? The only time a link will be on my page, will be if the link is of an affiliate, or the S.O.T.M. Otherwise, please do not email me asking to link to your page. If you want to affiliate with me, go to my Affiliation section. Can we affiliate? I get too many emails on this subject. Go go my Affiliation section and read the requirements before emailing me with requests. If you don't meet the requirements, please don't waste my time. Can you join my topsitelist? I also get way too many emails about this. Any topsites that I join are chosen by myself. So don't bother asking me to join your topsitelist. May I link directly to your files? You may NOT link directly to any of our files. This includes pictures, gifs, information sections...EVERYTHING. You may take any pictures or gifs that you like and upload them to your site, but you cannot link them directly from my site. Can I take anything that I want off your site? You may take any pics or gifs that you like, but do not link them directly from my site. However, you may NOT copy any of my information. All of the information was written by me. You may use it as reference, but do not plagiarize. What web host and server do you use? Angelfire is my web host and server. They are great web hosts because they give you 50 megabytes of webspace. All they ask in return is to let them put an ad on your page (banner or popup. I prefer banner because a popup will popup on every single page. Quite annoying.). Most importantly, it is completely FREE. In my opinion, Angelfire is the best site that offers free web hosting and I suggest that when looking for a free web host, use them. Can I print pages off your site? Sure you can, but when you show them to your friends, remember to mention where you got the pages from. Why is your site is so popular? In my opinion, the key to a popular site is detailed content, no broken links, and originality. Don't go copying other site's banners, buttons, layouts, etc. Also, it's better if you wait till your site's at least 80% complete before you put in topsitelists or search enginges. This way, when people first come to your site, they will keep coming back. But if people see a half finished site, they aren't likely to come back ever. Will you post full Dragonball episodes/movies and Dragonball roms? One word. No. It is illegal to post full Dragonball episodes/movies and Dragonball roms. If we posted episode, movies, and roms, FUNimation would lose sales and we could get sued by FUNimation and many other corporations associated with Dragonball. I'm not that rich, so I don't think that being sued is ideal for me. If you want the Dragonball episodes, movies, or roms, buy the original legal versions. The "24 hour rule" and "Bill Clinton Anti-Piracy Act" that many sites use to "legalize" the posting of Dragonball episodes, movies, and roms on the net is the most stupid fabricated piece of information I have ever heard. THERE IS NO 24 HOUR RULE. It's simple. Posting Dragonball episodes, movies, or roms is ILLEGAL. Period. DaDarkVegeta is merely a fansite of Dragonball/Z/GT.
