Welcome to the Vegeta the Actor section. Ever wondered where you've seen Vegeta before you started watching DragonballZ? Well, it's all here. Vegeta's been in many movies and TV and we'll be talking about them right here...
Vegeta's first performance on the big screen was in Star Wars where he had the role of the main character, Luke Skywalker. That's where Vegeta's first fighting experience came from. His grace technique of the light saber made him the perfect person to battle Darth Vader in this series of three movies (Star Wars, The Empire Stikes Back, The Return of the Jedi). Remember when vegeta sent Dodoria to the next dimension on Planet Namek? Well Vegeta actually learned that technique from learning about the "force" from Yoda in the movies. Here's a screen shot from one of the movie scenes:
Not only is Vegeta the Dark Prince, he's also the chosen one. Vegeta played the role of Neo in The Matrix. I love this movie. I watch the DVD like once every 2 months. You know that seen where Neo and the Agent go head to head in the subway? Well, then they went flying in the air, that's when Vegeta learned how to fly. And Vegeta used that flying technique in the last seen when he hung up the phone and flew into the air. Vegeta received 2 Academy Awards for that great performance. Here's a screen shot of one of his scenes with Trinity:
Vegeta has muscles, doesn't he? Ever wanted to know why he likes wearing tights? Well it all started out when he played Batman in Batman Returns. The director thought that he looked so much better than Michael Keaton in tights, that Vegeta got the part. And trust me, when Vegeta flew, he really flew. Did you know that Vegeta designed the batmobile? Neither did I until he told me on my interview with him. He seemed awfully proud during the interview too. Ticked me off a little. Anyways, if you haven't seen this movie, I urge you to see it. It's great! Superb! The DBZ times gave it 2 thumbs up (out of 10). Here's a screen shot from one of the movie scenes:
